Lime is used in the paper industry for bleaching paper pulp and improving fiber quality.

Description

Quicklime is used in the papermaking process to regenerate caustic soda. Slaked lime is used as a flocculating agent and neutralizer during the treatment of process water. Precipitated calcium carbonate, used as a mineral filler, improves printability and reduces manufacturing costs.

All 3 products are also used as bleaching agents.
