Product Name

CALCIUM OXIDE (CaO), QUICKLIME

Description

Calcium oxide and its specific derivative products are obtained by means of a calcination process of the calcium carbonate mineral at a high temperature.

CaCO3 + Heat → CaO + CO2

Calcium oxide is an alkali product which allows the regulation of several industrial processes, and its properties depend mainly on its chemical composition and the heat treatment to which the ore has been subjected, which determines its degree of reactivity.

Calcinor is betting on higher energy efficiency calcination systems existing on the market. Through additional grinding and classification processes, Calcinor is able to offer the most suitable particle size range for each application, as well as the perfect shipping format for every customer (bags, big bag, bulk).

Thanks to the R&D department, special products based on calcium oxide are developed:

CALCIUM HYDROXIDE (Ca(OH)2), SLIME

Description

We offer exclusive ranges of calcium hydroxides for specific applications.

Calcium hydroxide or slaked lime and its specific derivative products are obtained through a calcium oxide hydration process:

Heat is generated by the hydration reaction of quicklime, which, in many applications, promotes the drying and sanitizing process of the materials to be treated. Products based on calcium hydroxide are used in most application sectors, from construction to food processing.

The various hydration technologies used by Calcinor and R&D activities allow us to offer specific products.

CALHYDROX – CALHYDROX C

Product Name

Calcium and magnesium oxide (CaO MgO). Calcined dolomite

Description

Calcined dolomite is a material that plays an important role in the steel industry, both because of its purifying action in steels and its protective action on the refractory lining.

From dolomitic ore, calcium carbonate and magnesium, and through a calcination process, we obtain calcium and magnesium oxide or calcined dolomite.

Ca Mg (CO3)2 + heat → CaO MgO

Calcined dolomite It is used in the steel industry. as a scorifying agent and protector of the magnesium refractory lining; in agriculture as a soil improver; and in the environmental sector in water treatment, among other things.

Calcinor has three dolomite production centers which, thanks to their strategic location and proximity to the coast, guarantee supply to any point in the Peninsula and to the foreign market.
